Shop Foreman

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shop Supervisor to oversee operations at our hydraulic repair. The ideal candidate will manage daily activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of hydraulic cylinder and hose repair, and the ability to serve customers efficiently. The Shop Supervisor will play a crucial role in coordinating technicians and workload, managing invoices, and maintaining quality control.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily operations at the hydraulic shop, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Utilize inventory management software to track inventory and manage resources effectively.
• Read and interpret schematics to ensure accurate implementation of project specifications.
• Coordinate with technicians to facilitate smooth operations and timely delivery of materials.
• Train and mentor team members in best practices for techniques and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hydraulic industry.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management software.
• Proficiency in schematic reading and understanding technical drawings.
• Familiarity with quality control processes and standards in hydraulics.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.82 - $31.96 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
