What You'll Do:
- Lead the Estimation Process - Independently review project plans, specifications, and bids to develop accurate, competitive estimates.
- Strategic Cost Analysis - Optimize job methods, ensuring precision in cost analysis, budgeting, and project forecasting.
- Supplier & Contractor Coordination - Manage discussions with vendors and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing and build strong relationships.
- Bid Oversight - Supervise bid generation and collaborate with leadership on bid review and submission strategies.
- Project Collaboration - Participate in post-award hand-offs with Project Managers to align on scope, budget, and execution plans.
- Market Intelligence - Gather industry insights to advise clients and internal teams on future workloads and trends.
What You'll Bring to the Team:
- Experience & Expertise - 3 years of electrical estimating experience (5 years preferred), proven success in commercial, industrial, or institutional projects.
- Technical Knowledge - Familiarity with NEC, local codes, and construction requirements.
- Software Proficiency - Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to Detail - Precision in cost analysis, design gaps, value engineering, and budgeting.
- Strong Communication Skills - Ability to lead discussions with clients, vendors, and team members.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Associate degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Journeyman License or equivalent electrical field experience is a plus.
- Diverse Project Experience - Experience estimating a variety of project types, including large-scale commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
