What You'll Do:
As the HR Coordinator, you'll be a critical part of our team, helping to keep HR, Training, and Safety efforts organized, efficient, and impactful. Your work ensures that new hires feel welcomed, that we remain compliant, and that our culture continues to grow.
Your responsibilities will include:

Facilitate New Hire Onboarding: Schedule, coordinate, and deliver engaging onboarding and orientation sessions. Make sure new team members get a great start with the right tools, knowledge, and connections.

Manage Pre-Hire Processes: Oversee background checks, pre-employment drug screenings, and new hire paperwork including I-9s and W-4s. Ensure everything is completed accurately and on time.

Maintain HR Systems & Records: Enter team member data into HR systems, track changes, organize digital personnel files, and ensure everything is up to date and compliant.

Ensure Compliance: Monitor and meet key deadlines such as E-Verify, support internal HR and safety audits, and respond to requests like unemployment claims and verifications of employment.

Support Training & Certification Tracking: Track team member certifications, licenses, and safety training. Help ensure compliance with internal standards and customer prequalification requirements.

Assist with Learning & Development: Support the creation of training materials, track completion progress, and help coordinate company-wide learning initiatives.

Drive Team Member Engagement: Assist in planning and delivering team member appreciation events, recognition programs, wellness activities, and internal communications that boost morale and build connection.

Prepare Jobsite Startup Kits: Assemble and distribute jobsite startup boxes that include required postings and materials for field locations.

Support HR Projects: Contribute to various projects such as turnover tracking, HR metric reporting, benefits initiatives, and internal process improvements.

Review Invoices & Support Admin Tasks: Approve HR-related invoices, help schedule meetings, manage department calendars, and perform general administrative support duties as needed.

Be a Trusted Team Member: Collaborate across departments, support your team, and take initiative to solve problems, improve processes, and pitch in where help is needed.
What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, HR Management, Labor Relations, or a related field preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills-you're approachable, professional, and a clear communicator

Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and follow-through

Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Self-starter who takes initiative and exercises good judgment

Comfortable handling confidential information with care and discretion

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
