Human Resources Assistant
Full Time M-F
Pay: 16-19 / hour
This position will act as the first point of contact for all recruiting needs. The recruiter will source candidates as well as manage candidate information and resumes.
Responsibilities
· Organize and maintain candidate information and resumes
· Update internal databases (Recruiting spreadsheet, employee spreadsheet)
· Prepare onboarding documents
· Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate outlet
· Manages outside recruiting agencies relationships
· Screen candidates resumes and job applications
· Collaborate with department managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs
· Updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions
· Provide new hire orientation for temporary and full-time employees
· Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
· Act as the back up to processing weekly payroll
Requirements/Qualifications
· Proven work experience as a recruiter or relevant role
· Experience with recruiting software, HRIS systems
· Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize important projects
· Written and verbal communication skills
· Strong decision-making skills
· Spreadsheet preparation and tracking skills
· Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing environment preferred
