Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate Operational Resilience into strategic decision-making, ensuring critical business services can withstand disruptions.
- Provide second-line oversight of resilience assessments, plans, and implementations, offering independent reviews and challenges to strengthen operational strategies.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive monitoring program to assess resilience and identify emerging risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Lead crisis management activities, including developing testing scenarios, conducting tabletop exercises, and managing post-incident reviews to enhance resilience capabilities.
- Stay up to date with regulatory changes and industry trends, ensuring the firm’s resilience practices meet global best practices and compliance requirements.
- Deliver high-impact presentations and reports on resilience to executive leadership, business partners, and regulators, including risk assessments and progress on improvement initiatives.
- Lead governance meetings and collaborate with key teams such as IT, Business Continuity, Third-Party Risk Management, and Cybersecurity to address resilience-related risks.
- Conduct deep-dive reviews and assessments of resilience gaps, making recommendations for improvements and ensuring issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Drive continuous improvement in operational resilience frameworks by streamlining processes, reducing inefficiencies, and promoting collaboration across departments.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in Operational Resilience, business continuity, disaster recovery, technology resilience, or a similar field within financial services or regulated industries.
- Experience within financial services, asset management, or banking is highly preferred.
- Strong expertise in the four key pillars of Operational Resilience: Business, Technology, Third-Party, and Cyber Resilience.
- Experience in managing crisis scenarios, conducting business continuity drills, and performing post-event analysis to drive improvements.
- Solid understanding of resilience-related regulatory frameworks such as BCBS Principles, U.S. Federal Reserve/OCC/FDIC guidance, and UK PRA/FCA, DORA
- Proven ability to influence and engage senior leadership, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to address complex operational risks.
- Ability to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
Salary : $150,000 - $290,000
