We have earned the leading market share in commercial superconductor markets by delivering quality products on reliable schedules with superior technical performance.We are looking for R&D Technician (Engineering assistance)ResponsibilitiesAssisting R&D Engineers with the development of new wire products.Job responsibilities are on the wire manufacturing floor and include wire drawing and process development, including the ability to create tools & methods to take a product from the experimental to production state.Participating in the planning and analysis of experimentsAssisting the production department with special projects as needed.QualificationsTechnical high school diploma or associate's degree2-3 years of Electronics, Mechanical or Chemical background preferred.Previous experience working with metals, machining, and chemical handling preferred.The ability to perform occasional heavy physical work, including lifting 50 pounds.Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.Good organizational and communication skills.Machine operation background.Basic math and computer skills.Some mechanical skills preferred.Self-motivated and mechanically creativeAttention to detail.Some overtime may be required.We also offer a full benefits package including Medical / Dental / Prescription / Vision, vacation, sick time, and a 401K with company match.Bruker Corporation offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, 401(k), paid vacation, holidays, and tuition assistance (as applicable).Bruker is an equal-opportunity employer.
