Summary

As a Landscape Technician at Brummel Lawn & Landscape LLC, you will be instrumental in executing various landscaping projects and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This role is vital to our mission of enhancing the aesthetic appeal of properties while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Full responsibility for multiple design-build and landscape jobs focusing on managing labor, materials, time and customer expectation.
• Creates short and long term department goals and objectives.
• Drives accountability on all key performance indicators (e.g., revenue, gross margin, staffing and job retention).
• Ensures all procedures are compliant with safety regulations and company policies.
• Ensures all job responsibilities are performed in accordance with company protocol.
• Cultivates partnerships with existing and prospective clients.
• Performs winter service (e.g., snow clearing, snow plowing, shoveling, salting) as needed.
• Works with company software, Microsoft office suite, and standard office equipment.
• Provides excellent service to all employees, clients and vendors.
• Attends meetings, makes presentations, and represents the company as a technical expert in the fields of installation, design-building, and construction.
• Controls all cost associated with each individual project.
• Completes all administrative procedures associated with the position including timecards, inventory and all standard operating procedures for the department head.
• Schedule all jobs in accordance to department schedules ensuring projects will be completed in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all crews are properly staffed and trained properly in department procedures.

• Demonstrates professional knowledge regarding horticultural practices, design-build procedures, and installation; presents oneself as a landscape expert to clients, vendors, and suppliers; understands industry best practices and trends.
• Responsible for staffing, training, and performance management; approves all paperwork; complies with all human resources procedures; views employees as assets.
• Consistently makes effective, timely, and sound decisions; solicits information from multiple sources prior to making a judgment; addresses goals, resources, and intangibles; considers implications and contingency plans associated with all decisions.
• Consistently exceeds customer expectations; keeps customers well-informed, listens to them attentively, and addresses their concerns; enacts a personal approach to customer service.
