About the Role
Brunel is seeking a highly skilled Lead Planner/Scheduler to join our team for a long-term contract position with our client located in Safford, Arizona.
This contractor position will initially be based remotely, followed by on-site work at our Safford mine site in Arizona. As part of this role, you will manage and oversee scheduling functions within project controls for moderate to high-risk capital engineering and construction projects.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage project planning and scheduling, monitoring progress, risk management, and reporting.
- Oversee a planning team and participate in establishing operating policies to mitigate risks.
- Provide guidance and consultation to project team members.
- Ensure accurate project control information and identify potential issues and concerns.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related fields, along with ten years' experience in Construction Management and six years in a leadership role in project controls.
- Or High School diploma or GED, fifteen years' experience in engineering, construction, project controls, or business-related field, with six years in a leadership role in project controls planning and scheduling.
