Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Bilingual Receptionist and Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish, enabling them to effectively interact with a diverse clientele. This role is crucial in creating a welcoming environment for visitors and ensuring smooth operational flow within the office. The Bilingual Receptionist will also assist with various administrative and cleaning tasks, contributing to the overall efficiency of our organization. The Receptionist/ Cleaner will spend Half the time working in the office, the other half cleaning various locations as needed.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate personnel while maintaining a courteous tone.
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain an organized calendar for staff.
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
- Support facilities maintenance by coordinating cleaning schedules and ensuring the cleanliness of common areas.
- Assist with commercial and industrial cleaning tasks as needed, including buffing floors and performing custodial duties.
- Provide information about services offered in both English and Spanish.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while adhering to company policies.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as floor care, buffing, and custodial work is a plus.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently or as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in using office equipment (e.g., computers, printers) and software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
