Job Function:
Produce product that exceeds internal/external customer’s expectations for quality, cost and delivery.
Responsibilities:
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities. Employee may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
- Maintains efficiencies at the established rates for each operation that’s achievable.
- Verifies conformance of finished work-piece to quality specifications, using precision measuring instruments as required.
- Ensures accuracy / quality on all assigned jobs, while meeting production schedules.
- Relays any production issues related to laser welding processes to Engineers or Lead for immediate attention.
- Communicates with Managers, Supervisors, lead people and fellow employees.
- Complies with all safety procedures and company policies.
- Maintains Brunk Industries high standard of cleanliness.
· Completes labor entry/data collection in an accurate manner.
Skills:
· Good mechanical aptitude.
· Good organizational and communication skills (written and verbal).
· Reads and understands dimensioned drawings.
· General computer skills.
· Basic level math skills
· Ability to follow procedures and work with minimal supervision.
Education and Experience:
Minimum educational requirements listed below may be substituted by relevant experience, learned competencies and/or certifications obtained throughout one’s career.
· Prior experience in a metal fabricating business or similar industry desired but not necessary.
· High School diploma or GED equivalent desired but not necessary
Work Environment/Physical Requirements/Protective Clothing Required:
· Work is performed in a manufacturing setting with noise, dust, oil mist and fumes.
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
· Must be able to work standing most of the day.
· Must wear steel toed protective shoes, safety glasses, gloves, shop shirt and wear hearing protection in the designated areas.
