About the Role:
The Forge Operator & Material Handler plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process by ensuring that materials are prepared, handled, and processed efficiently. This position is responsible for operating forging machinery and equipment, which requires a keen understanding of metal properties and forging techniques. The successful candidate will also manage the flow of materials, ensuring that they are available for production while maintaining safety and quality standards. Attention to detail and adherence to operational protocols are essential to minimize waste and maximize productivity. Ultimately, this role contributes significantly to the overall success of the manufacturing operations at our Arkansas headquarters.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably in metalworking or forging.
- Basic understanding of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in operating heavy machinery or forklifts.
- Experience with quality control processes and standards in manufacturing.
