Job Description Heat treat Technician
Shifts are normally 12 hours 6 pm to 6 am. 10% night differential has been added to started wage for second shift. Monday - Thursday.
Heat Treat: Will load and operate furnace, gas and electric, which perform various types of heat treatment, check gauges and instruments during heat treat process and make adjustments or report irregularities to supervisor. Will become responsible to learn how to properly inspect parts to blueprint specifications. Must know proper testing procedures for all order being run, be able to test parts being run using approved methods. Capable to write up process sheets for orders and OK sheets for other operators. Strive to work well with co-workers as a team player, keep work area clean, and perform any other tasks as assigned.

Physical requirements for daily activities (these are estimated, there is not a set routine):
Lifting – 25 to 50 pounds: Normally lifts items that weigh at least 50 pounds.
Bend, stoop or climb
Walking and standing: On feet for a full shift.
Uses hand tools, measuring devices, overhead cranes, hand trucks, forklift.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.20 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
