LOCATION: 7800 Will Rogers Blvd. Fort Worth, TX
The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our Fort Worth Distribution Center. In this role you will be responsible for supervising the daily distribution operations to ensure that orders are selected, packaged, loaded, and dispatched safely, timely, accurately and efficiently, and proper records are maintained.
We are looking for individuals who have the flexibility to work varying shifts, as shift times and patterns can change based on business needs. We are currently hiring for the below shifts:
- Continental Day shifts: 6:00am - 6:15pm.
- Continental Night shifts: 6:00pm to 6:15am.
What you get to do:
- Set daily objectives of the warehouse to ensure work goals are met.
- Plan and prioritize daily shipment schedule, and responsible for setting up carriers for all outbound orders.
- Manage warehouse space for storage and distribution of raw materials (Coffee and Tea), packaging, WIP and finished goods.
- Responsible for warehouse shortage rates, order fill rates, receiving errors, selection errors, and warehouse slotting of products.
- Partner with Customer Service and Production to ensure exemplary service to all customers.
- Track and report shift and individual performance set by annual KPI’s.
- Oversee interior and exterior of facility upkeep and cleanliness following all required protocols (GMP/SQF/CTPAT/PIP etc…)
- Follow all established safety procedures.
- Maintain work area in a clean and neat fashion.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and vendors.
- Active people developer that recognizes the importance of supporting the Individual Development and Succession/Talent Review processes to develop organizational capability.
- Lead by example and challenge, inspire teams to support the delivery of the Distribution/Warehousing/Logistics Plan.
- Conduct and ensure the timely completion of performance reviews.
- Ensure employees adhere to legal, ethical and operational compliance requirements.
- Set expectations for training and development of team directly and indirectly managed and makes effective staffing decisions.
- Provide coaching, direction and leadership support to employees in order to achieve employee, company and customer results.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and general occupational safety standards, quality specifications, local and governmental environmental requirements.
What you bring to the role:
- 3 - 5 years of warehouse experience as a Supervisor, preferably in the food industry
- 3 – 5 years of experience with a Warehouse Management System, such as Dynamics AX or D365.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Solid understanding of 3rd party warehouse/transportation billing process.
- Innovative thinker with issue-framing and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Operate with a sense of urgency being action oriented and exhibiting perseverance.
- Ability to set direction through business acumen, strategic agility and dealing with ambiguity.
