Tool Room & Yard Associate

Description: The ideal applicant will be responsible for inventory control and tracking in a construction warehouse, tool room and yard setting. This individual should have good organizational and technological skills. Attention to detail and accuracy are critical traits needed. Must be able to update movement of equipment and material using our tracking software. Must be able to be covered under the company’s drivers insurance and have the ability to lift 100 pounds. Previous construction or inventory management experience is preferred. 

Duties:

·       Inventory control

·       Material management

·       Shipping, receiving and tracking of material

·       Tool and equipment tracking

·       Loading and unloading material and equipment

·       Staging material for crews

·       Yard, building, and ground maintenance as necessary

Preferred Skills:

·       Strong communication, organization, and technological skills

·       Person of integrity, honesty, and takes ownership of responsibilities

·       Self-motivated with desire to improve each day

·       Need to seek answers, must ask questions

·       Ability to operate a forklift and back trailers

·       Understanding of building materials and processes

·       High school diploma/GED

·       Class A CDL is preferred but not required

·       Valid driver's license
