General Function
The Adjunct Nursing Instructor is a part - time position serving as an adjunct teaching faculty member responsible for instructing students on-campus, in clinical sites, and through other delivery methodologies in accordance with College policy and procedures. The relationship of this adjunct faculty member to the student is one of a leader, teacher, advisor, and facilitator of learning.
Essential Duties and Responsibilites
- Participates in clinical advising of nursing students
- Participates in development, implementation, evaluation and revision of curriculum as indicated.
- Maintain professional competence and environment
- Participate in professional development activities is required
- Work cooperatively with peers while supporting the mission and vision of the College
- Adhere to rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of the College nursing program

Do you have a bachelor's degree in Nursing?
Do you have at least two years of clinical experience in an Acute Care setting within the last five years?
Do you hold a current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina, a Nurse Licensure Compact State, or to be eligible for licensure?
Do you have a current healthcare provider BLS, immunizations, and tuberculosis screening?
Do you have medical / surgical, ED, OB, or critical care experience?
