What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dance Aerobics Instructor position at Brunswick Forest Fitness & Wellness Center?
The Brunswick Forest Fitness and Wellness Center offers exercise classes to the residents of Brunswick Forest. We are a large community that is located in Leland, NC, just 10 minutes from downtown Wilmington.
We are looking to hire an instructor who has experience teaching Zumba classes or other styles of aerobics classes involving dance and/or choreography.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of teaching experience is preferred
-Current/valid CPR/AED certification is required
-Current/valid group fitness certification is required
Job Type: Part-time/Contract
Salary: $36.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Lead fitness classes for groups of varying sizes and fitness levels.
- Incorporate aerobics routines and choreography to create engaging and dynamic workouts.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for participants during classes.
- Maintain Zumba Instructor Certification, CPR Certification, and AED Certification.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in group fitness instruction.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $36.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 3 per week
