The Brunswick School Department seeks an experienced and enthusiastic eighth-grade English Language Arts teacher for a one-year position. The successful candidate should possess the following:
- Experience as a 6-8 English Language Arts teacher preferred
- Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and share best practice
- Experience working on grade level and interdisciplinary teams as well as co-teaching
- Knowledge of differentiated instruction and assessment
- Interest in innovative approaches
- Skilled at working with all students
- Capacity to utilize technology to enhance practice
- Interest in participating in the school community outside of the classroom
- State of Maine certification and CHRC approval are required
