Landscaping Account Manager
Purpose and Description
Our growing Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio/ Mentor, OH full-service landscaping and snowplowing company is looking to hire a Landscape Account Manager. The Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining customer contact with your contracted accounts and seeking additional accounts both residential and commercial. In this position, you must have clear communication concerning regarding customer specific contract specifications and work in conjunction with crews and production to perform services in a fiscally responsible manner.
As the Landscaping account manager, you will also be responsible for executing sales and building on the customer relationships, as well as maintaining and assisting with the improvement of the Company’s competitive position. Keeping a watchful eye on installation/services to ensure that the customer is satisfied and approves of the services/work we provided. Recognizes and communicates production and accounts for any specific customer preferences or requests for service and immediately works to provide solutions to any customer complaints.
Responsibilities
· Explore existing and new business strengthening relationships with customers, our subcontractors including general contractors, builders, commercial developers, property managers, and others.
· Track and maintain all adequate calls/leads both warm and cold to cover the market.
· Sales Goals for selling landscape management contracts that include mowing, horticultural services, and/or snow removal to commercial properties, property management companies, apartment/multi-unit residential properties, and individual residences.
· Creates, reviews and presents proposals completely and professionally, according to company standards. Does due diligence with adequate follow-up on hard bids and offers cost-optimized solutions to customers.
· Verifies that all estimates are prepared and approved as required before presenting to the customer.
· Maintains that all sales and job costs are meeting the expected profit margin.
· Will respond to all inquiries and requests for bids promptly and professionally.
· Keep and maintain records and tracking of all bids that are in progress.
· Adds to and maintains the company-owned database of current customers, potential customers and past customers to support the marketing and sales effort.
· Work with the team to build a progressive plan toward retaining of customers
· Actively manage properties by inspecting and locating problems before the customer does, and brings it to the landscaping and snow removal crews' attention.
· Provides accurate and professional feedback on customers’ perceptions of the product and service being provided, to maximize our customer retention.
· Maintains an active stance of the crews and works closely with production about scheduling, quality, and customer service. Establish that all contracted services provided are of good quality and completed as promised. Communicate to crews, accounting and customers regarding any problem areas and work to find immediate resolutions.
· Work to a high level to maintain good housekeeping of company assets in the field, vehicles, field offices, and customer worksites.
· Work with staff to support and assist in the training of employees to guarantee the services are delivered in a manner that is consistent with the signed contract specifications and our company expectations

· Assist recruitment employees, subcontractors, and additional staff for lawn care and snowplowing.

· Working Proficiency in software programs like: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint and desire and ability to learn new software programs quickly.

Preferred Qualifications
· High School Diploma
· Associate degree
Minimum Qualifications & Educational Requirements
· Minimum 5 Years of Landscape Sales Experience in the Lawn Care/Landscape/Snow Removal Industry in management/senior leadership/account management and business development
· 7 Years of Experience in the Lawn Care/Landscape/Snow Removal Industry
Salary for Account Manager will be between $70,000 to $75,000
