What are the responsibilities and job description for the DETENTION OFFICER position at Bryan County?
The Bryan County Sheriff’s Office is now accepting applications for Detention Officer.
Minimum qualifications required, high school diploma or G.E.D. must be at least 18 years of age, must have a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory motor vehicle record. Applicant must not have any felony convictions; must successfully pass drug screening as conditional employment offer, must pass extensive background inquiry: preferred qualifications completion of basic jail officer’s course from G.P.S.T.C. or have P.O.S.T certification as basic law enforcement officer.
