Operations Analyst

Bryan Rock Products is a family owned mining company established in 1941 with limestone quarries in the Shakopee and Stillwater areas, with plans to expand and develop new product lines. We are seeking an Operations Analyst to work out of our corporate office in Shakopee. The Operations Analyst will be responsible for the processes, analysis and reporting of sales and production activities. Responsibilities include the following areas:

-Develop and upgrade the sales and billing software (Command Alkon Apex) and establish related processes and procedures, including the implementation of virtual scaling.

-Analyze, develop and communicate new reporting of sales data and results.

-Establish and implement a new production job costing system, including software development, process and procedures, and the review and management of the coding and input of production labor, purchases, and equipment usage and maintenance costs.

-Develop reporting for all facets of production job costing and equipment.

The Operations Analyst is a new position reporting to the CFO, and will work closely with all areas of the company: production foremen, accounting, sales, the COO, and owners.

Qualifications and skills include:

-A degree in accounting, management, or IT, with relevant experience.

-Analytical skills and aptitude.

-Strong knowledge of Excel and report writing.

-Ability to work and communicate with a variety of personnel.
