**Job Description**
The Assistant Systems Technical Manager of Financial Aid provides technical support to campus and System associates in the area of financial aid processing and data monitoring. This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, reliable customer service, and proficiency in a technological environment.
**Responsibilities**
This role involves assisting the System Technical Manager of Financial Aid with new aid year set up and maintenance of the Banner Financial Aid modules, as well as daily processing of federal and state aid files through electronic data files. Additionally, the incumbent will provide support to campus financial aid teams by offering Help Desk assistance in daily financial aid processing and reviewing accounts receivable application of payments. The Assistant Systems Technical Manager of Financial Aid will also act as a backup Destination Point Administrator for setting up and deleting users in U.S. Department of Education, State, and third-party support systems.
**Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree and have 2-3 years of experience working with the Banner Student System. Knowledge of Federal and State financial aid regulations, familiarity with COD, NSLDS, and other federal and state systems, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills, are essential. Ability to function effectively as part of a team to meet overall college goals, strong organizational and analytical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, are also required.
