Grider Support Services, LLC (GSS) is seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Director of Financial Operations to lead and oversee the financial management of GSS and affiliated entities, including Premier Health Partners, P.C. (PHP). This senior-level role is integral to the financial health and operational success of the organization, with responsibilities spanning budgeting, financial reporting, revenue cycle management, physician contracting, managed care, and compliance. The Senior Director will guide all aspects of financial operations, drive performance improvements, and ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations. This role supervises a diverse team and plays a key leadership role in shaping financial strategy across a growing healthcare network.

Pay Range: $150,000 to $200,000 annually*

Essential Duties:
- Manages the preparation, analyzes, and verifies the accuracy of monthly and annual financial reports and statements, journal entries, account reconciliations, periodic special reports and internal financial statements and schedules. Prepares consolidating entries as required.
- Manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operations and growth.
- Provide financial leadership and collaborate with the President of the affiliate and other key executives in setting and evaluating strategic goals.
- Prepare and manage the annual operating and capital budgets and forecasts.
- Analyze financial trends and variances, offering insights to address fluctuations and improve financial performance.
- Lead and help implement material financial and employment models for providers within the affiliate entities and employees within Grider Support Services, LLC.
- Oversee tax planning, audits, and compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Work directly with leadership to engage and direct the outside audit firm and tax preparation firm.
- Ensures insurance coverages for physicians and providers, the Corporation and Property are appropriate.
- Direct and supervise acquisition due diligence, valuation work and negotiating acquisitions.
- Develops and implements financial policies and procedures, monitors compliance and internal controls.
- Oversee the recruitment, supervision, training, and evaluation of the Finance Department
- Coordinates and participates in required system upgrades, testing and documentation.
- Keeps abreast on industry trends and information; participates in continuing education programs.
- Participates in meetings and serves on various committees as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
- Minimum of 7-10 years of financial management experience, of which at least 5 years in a healthcare or physician practice environment
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA), preferred
- Extensive knowledge of healthcare finance, including budgeting, financial reporting, revenue cycle operations, managed care, and physician/risk-based contracting within integrated delivery networks.
- Strong leadership and strategic decision-making abilities, with a proven track record of improving financial performance, evaluating operational outcomes, and navigating complex regulatory environments.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and technical skills, including contract negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial management systems.
