What are the responsibilities and job description for the PROJECT COORDINATOR position at Brycon Corporation?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide administrative assistance to the project team
- Track project documentation, plans, and reports.
- Assist with transmittals, Submittal Logs, RFI logs, Change Order Logs, ASI Logs, meeting minutes, warranty letters/O&M assembly, preparation of invoices/pay apps for PM Approval, and frequently work on projects with required deadlines.
- Document and track insurance certificates, including electronic filing of documents
- Enter new vendors into the procurement database and invoices into the accounting system.
- Process vendor/subcontractor invoices and waivers and distribute checks and electronic filing of documents.
- Assist with the distribution of employee time and entry into the payroll system
- Responsible for all other duties as assigned.
- The employee may be required to work extended hours (more than 8 hours per day), weekends, and holidays. The employee will be compensated based on guidelines in the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Basic knowledge of construction and accounting
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
- Experience with working effectively with a team.
- Must successfully complete background check and drug/alcohol testing.
- This is a safety-sensitive position; the candidate must complete and pass a background check and a ten-panel drug /alcohol testing
- Experienced with Microsoft 365 applications with the ability to learn new software programs as required
