Medical Assistant Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare professionals in delivering patient care with compassion and professionalism
- Perform basic medical procedures such as vital signs measurement, medication administration, and specimen collection
- Prepare patients for examinations and medical procedures, ensuring their comfort and well-being
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records to facilitate seamless patient care and communication among healthcare providers
- Provide medical administrative support, including appointment scheduling and patient information management
Medical Assistant Qualifications
- Completion of a medical assistant program or relevant certification preferred but not required
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred
- Proficiency in medication administration techniques
- Knowledge of phlebotomy procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
