Job Description
The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for providing rehabilitative therapy to patients upon referral for communication, cognitive, and / or swallowing disorders following all regulatory and clinical practice requirements. This includes recovery, improvement in function, and when possible, a return to a prior level of functioning. Clinical documentation will describe objective measures and justification for continued or discontinued services.
This position reports to the Director of Rehabilitation Services.
Job Requirements
- Must be a graduate of an accredited program in Speech-Language Pathology
- Must be ASHA certified (CCCs)
- Must have a current and active license with the state of Pennsylvania
- One year of experience in long-term care or related setting preferred
- Three years of experience holding active CCCs prior to CFY Supervision preferred
