Job Overview
Bryten Real Estate Partners is seeking a highly skilled Regional Portfolio Director to lead our team in achieving exceptional results. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing multiple properties, driving growth, and ensuring seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Train and manage Asset Directors and/or Community Managers to achieve occupancy goals and manage site budgets.
- Lead Assistant Asset Directors and/or Community Managers to collect rent, pay bills, forecast requirements, prepare annual budgets, schedule expenditures, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions.
- Develop and reinforce training programs for on-site team members, including lease-up processes, office setup, reporting procedures, rent collections, lease paperwork, evictions, late fees, policy violations, accounting practices, purchasing procedures, preventative maintenance, and facilities maintenance.
- Travel to site offices, inspect field operations, review reports prepared by subordinate managers, and determine the progress of occupancy and maintenance projects, reporting findings to the Vice President.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred; high school education or equivalent required.
- 4 years in related experience and/or training, including management of staff.
- Strong financial and asset management abilities with solid time management skills.
- A dynamic leader with strong business, marketing, and property management skills.
- Effective communicator, trainer, and motivator.
- Self-motivated and independent thinker while maintaining strong and loyal team relationships.
- Calm and engaging crisis manager with developed conflict management skills.
- Ability to follow and enforce policies and procedures.
- Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills with excellent time management.
