Responsibilities
- This position is responsible for coordinating all patient referrals at the request of the provider.
- Responsible for SCHEDULING ALL necessary appointments, and coordinating with the patient and outside referral provider.
- Responsible for notifying patients of appointments and giving any instructions needed.
- Responsible for entering referral information into the EHR and sending records to referrals as needed.
- Performs additional prior authorization responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Scheduling related experience.
