Responsibilities
- Works under the supervision of nursing and with full proficiency to perform all duties of a Clinical Support Specialist.
- Obtains and records patients' vital signs and collects specimens for lab tests.
- Provide basic patient transport and housekeeping duties.
- Performs technical procedures such as suture/staple removal, and splinting of extremities, and performs ECGs as ordered.
- Coordinates daily activities for assigned units to include general clerical and administrative support and participates in performance improvement activities to enhance and maintain personal and department qualifications and standards of performance.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High School or GED
- Must have BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 30 days of hire or transfer into position.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- 1 years' experience in acute care or clinic
