What are the responsibilities and job description for the Volunteer Camp James Ray position at BSA - Circle Ten Council?
Description : A Circle Ten Council camp staff member is a member of a team that is responsible for creating and guiding a program that provides opportunities for young people to have new experiences that teach new skills, improve self-esteem and confidence, and help them to discover new adventures.
All Camp James Ray staff should enjoy working with elementary aged youth and be able to lead groups of youth and their adult leaders through fun and engaging activities.
Programs Opportunities will include : Aquatics (pool and waterfront) Range Sports (Archery or BB's), Program Activities, Dining Hall, Commissioner
General duties of a camp staff member include :
- As a Volunteer you will be assisting in all phases of our program
- Help in the implementation of all mealtime, afternoon, or evening program as assigned by your supervisor
- Be on time to all scheduled program offerings that you are assigned
- Wear the appropriate scouting uniform at all times
