We have an opening for a Medical Surgical 4AB Patient Care Technician (PCT) in Amarillo, TX.
Responsibilities
- As a PCT, you will work under nursing supervision to provide basic patient care.
- You will assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and other activities of daily living.
- Your responsibilities will also include observing patients' progress to prepare and disseminate reports to Registered Nurses.
- You will obtain and record patients' vital signs and collect specimens for lab tests.
- In addition, you will provide basic patient transport and housekeeping duties.
Qualifications
- To be successful in this role, you must have BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer into position.
Preferred Qualifications
- A High School (or GED equivalent) diploma is preferred.
- Completion of High School PCT competencies is also preferred.
