Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Commercial Lines New Business to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and expanding our customer base through various sales strategies.

Qualifications:

• Display effective interpersonal skills by communicating well, collaborating, and providing necessary information and guidance to help accomplish the agency's business objectives.
• Possess strong computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook email, as well as strong typing skills.
• Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial lines customer service or management within an agency.
• Must be familiar with agency systems such as AMS360 management systems and proposal systems.
• Have knowledge of carrier interface systems for Quoting and Service Tasks, including carriers like Accident Fund, Acuity, American Modern, Auto Owners, Chubb, Conifer, Hanover-Citizens, Hastings, Fremont, Foremost, Frankenmuth, Hagerty, Michigan Millers, Pioneer, Progressive, Safeco, Travelers, and more specialty carriers.
• Possess a Michigan P & C license.
• Demonstrate a track record of achieving business results.
• Seeking an individual to eventually become the Commercial Lines Department Manager and contribute to the growth of the department.
• Assist in updating department operations and procedures for the Commercial Lines (CL) staff and CL Sales Team.
• Set priorities and manage workflow to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate processing of transactions.
• Maintain positive and effective relationships with clients, coworkers, carriers, and vendors.
