Job Overview
The Director of Accounting position at our company offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead the accounting department. The role involves overseeing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to the organization.
Duties
- Manage and supervise the accounting team, providing mentorship and guidance
- Oversee all aspects of accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting
- Conduct account reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial records
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure internal controls
- Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis reports
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making
- Stay updated on securities law, wills trusts estate law, and other relevant regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification preferred
- Extensive experience in accounting with a strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping
- Healthcare accounting and cost reporting experience.
- Solid knowledge of financial concepts and account analysis
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments

Pay: $108,148.00 - $116,737.00 per year
