Job Description
The Project Manager will oversee the planning, direction, and coordination of subcontractor work on-site to ensure construction schedules are met and finished projects meet high-quality standards. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of HVAC systems and the ability to maintain excellent client relationships while ensuring project profitability.
Travel Required: 30-40%
Responsibilities

· Manage and coordinate mechanical construction projects from start to finish.
· Gain a thorough understanding of each project to handle tasks such as ordering materials, issuing subcontracts, developing billings, managing RFIs and change orders, and preparing/reviewing submittals. Ensure all project team members are informed.
· Maintain familiarity with general conditions, work scope, and specifications of the project contract/subcontract.
· Plan proactively to prevent issues and resolve emerging problems before they escalate.
· Establish project cost control centers to track equipment, material, labor, subcontractor, and miscellaneous costs.
· Oversee large projects with minimal supervision.
· Procure and manage subcontractors and equipment vendors.
· Regularly inspect the jobsite to ensure compliance with contract terms, quality standards, and safety regulations.
· Ensure timely completion of projects and high customer satisfaction.
· Maintain communication with customers, representatives, building owners, subcontractors, and field support staff.
· Flexibility to work outside normal hours and weekends, as needed.
· Willingness to travel domestically as required.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
· Minimum 5 years of project management experience or equivalent.
· Proven experience in Construction Management or a related field.
· A B.S. in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
· Knowledge of HVAC and Piping Systems, construction products, design details, relevant regulations, and quality standards.
· Familiarity with construction management software and strong computer skills.
· Self-motivated with strong time and project management abilities.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· OSHA 30 certification is a plus and will be required upon hiring.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- · Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., work in a construction environment, and use step ladders, extension ladders, and various power and hand tools.
