Overview
We are seeking a skilled Land Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in civil engineering and various surveying technologies to support our projects.
Duties
- Conduct land surveys to establish property boundaries
- Utilize GPS, 3D scanners, and other surveying equipment for accurate measurements
- Create detailed maps, sketches, and schematics
- Analyze survey data and prepare reports
- Collaborate with engineers and construction teams on project requirements
- Use CAD software for drafting and GIS tools like ArcGIS for mapping
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Licensure as a Massachusetts Professional Land Surveyor registration required
- Experience in Boundary surveys, Topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, Land Court Surveys, Subdivisions and Construction Layout surveys
- Minimum of three years of experience as a PLS required
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients
