- Utilize transportation management software to plan and dispatch shipments
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams
- Monitor and analyze delivery schedules to ensure on-time performance
- Coordinate with supply chain and shipping/receiving departments
- Manage fleet operations and maintenance
- Utilize GIS tools for route optimization
- Handle phone systems for incoming calls and dispatching tasks
Qualifications
- Experience with dispatching, preferably in a logistics or transportation environment
- Proficiency in utilizing transportation management systems like SyteLine
- Knowledge of supply chain operations
- Strong communication skills to interact with various stakeholders
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Familiarity with fleet management practices
