Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Safety Coordinator to join our team. The Safety Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the workplace meets all safety regulations and standards to create a secure environment for employees.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and risks
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with relevant regulations
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and prevent future occurrences
- Provide safety training to employees on topics such as emergency response, first aid, and CPR
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, and incidents
- Collaborate with management to address safety concerns and implement corrective actions
Skills
- Knowledge of EPA, EHS, and occupational health standards
- 2 years in commercial construction safety experience
- Has knowledge of desktop computers, laptops, iPad, smartphones, and various other electronic devises.
- OSHA 30
- Ability to provide first aid and CPR if needed
- Experience in fabricating safety equipment is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
