What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller - CPA position at BSA-Tech?
The Controller is responsible for preparing and overseeing financial statements for all company affiliates to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards. Key duties include maintaining the general ledger, managing and coordinating the external audit process in collaboration with the CPA firm, and providing essential accounting support to the CFO and the CPA firm for tax filings. The Controller will also supervise and mentor the accounting staff.
The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a preference for CPA certification.
A minimum of five years of accounting experience is required, including at least two years in a supervisory role.
The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in managing audits and tax compliance processes, possess a strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting, and have experience working with field-based teams.
Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential for this position.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
