Multifamily Architect Position

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Level 1 Architect to join our dynamic team in Chicago, IL, contributing to the success of projects across the Multifamily sector.

Job Description:

• Engage in all phases of project development, from initial concept through construction administration.
• Develop architectural plans, elevations, sections, and details using industry-standard CAD and BIM software.
• Evaluate design integrity by conducting quality checks to confirm compliance with project standards and building codes.
• Organize and maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and relevant materials.
• Research applicable building codes, ordinances, and materials to support project objectives.
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and consultants to facilitate integrated project delivery.
• Gather insights during client interactions and provide valuable contributions.
• Assist in coordinating design reviews, documenting feedback, and ensuring seamless design integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in architecture or a related field, with a strong Multifamily project experience preferred.
• Active architectural license required.
• Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other design software.
• Demonstrated experience in multifamily residential projects, with a solid understanding of design standards, building codes, and project complexities specific to multifamily developments.
• Able to ensure accuracy in technical documents and detail work, maintaining a high level of quality in project deliverables.
• Effective communication skills to convey ideas within the team and with clients.
• Flexibility to work in a collaborative environment and adapt designs to meet changing project needs.
