About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Level 1 Architect to join our dynamic team in Chicago, IL, contributing to the success of projects across the Multifamily sector.
Job Description:
- Engage in all phases of project development, from initial concept through construction administration.
- Develop architectural plans, elevations, sections, and details using industry-standard CAD and BIM software.
- Evaluate design integrity by conducting quality checks to confirm compliance with project standards and building codes.
- Organize and maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and relevant materials.
- Research applicable building codes, ordinances, and materials to support project objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and consultants to facilitate integrated project delivery.
- Gather insights during client interactions and provide valuable contributions.
- Assist in coordinating design reviews, documenting feedback, and ensuring seamless design integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in architecture or a related field, with a strong Multifamily project experience preferred.
- Active architectural license required.
- Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other design software.
- Demonstrated experience in multifamily residential projects, with a solid understanding of design standards, building codes, and project complexities specific to multifamily developments.
- Able to ensure accuracy in technical documents and detail work, maintaining a high level of quality in project deliverables.
