What are the responsibilities and job description for the Admin Receptionist (PT) position at BSC 2024?
The Hampton campus of Bryant & Stratton College is seeking an Administrative Receptionist (part-time). This position reports to the Director of Admissions.
Job Summary:
This position is an essential first contact for Students, Faculty, Staff and Vendors. In addition to receptionist duties, this position provides administrative support to the Admissions department.
Principal Job Functions:
- Answering a multi-line phone system
- Polite and professional customer service
- Data entry and other Admissions functions
- Distributing and sending campus mail
- Faxing, filing and basic office duties
- Special projects as assigned
The ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with a diverse group of students and peers is required. Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and manage time are essential skills for this position.
Flexibility to work evening and weekend hours is required.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Associates Degree preferred
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Previous receptionist experience a plus
