Process Improvement Specialist

Your Responsibilities
The Process Improvement Specialist is responsible for analyzing existing job processes in all areas of the warehouse and writing SOPs. Specific focus on developing new strategies for process improvements based on goals and guidelines set by Service Parts Manager. The Process Improvement Specialist is also responsible for continued monitoring of process improvements. Functions as backup for other team members, filling in for receiving, packaging, and warehouse or shipping associates as necessary.

Process Improvement Specialist
New Bern, NC / Full-time
Your Responsibilities
The Process Improvement Specialist is responsible for analyzing existing job processes in all areas of the warehouse and writing SOPs. Specific focus on developing new strategies for process improvements based on goals and guidelines set by Service Parts Manager. The Process Improvement Specialist is also responsible for continued monitoring of process improvements. Functions as backup for other team members, filling in for receiving, packaging, and warehouse or shipping associates as necessary.
- Analyze existing job processes in all areas of the warehouse and write SOPs.
- Work with Warehouse Supervisor, all Team Leaders, and associates to develop new strategies for process improvements based on goals and guidelines set by Service Parts Manager.
- Develop groundwork, new work instructions, and write SOPs for all approved new job processes.
- Follow up on implemented processes, and track their status with involvement and feedback from Team Leaders.
- Initiate and manage special projects as directed by Warehouse Supervisors and Service Parts Manager.
- Key role in maintenance of weBSH.net and all related functions pertaining to testing and training.
- Identify areas of optimization within processes and report to Warehouse Supervisors and Service Parts Manager.
- Function as backup for other team members, filling in for receiving, packaging, and warehouse or shipping associates as necessary.
- Managing ITM, SAP and Lucas systems and any errors related or updates or trainings needed.
- Manage PCO view( process for hand ITM scanners)
- Completing root cause analysis for issues in any Warehouse production area
- Assist all other areas in SAP,ITM and Lucas related issues which includes testing
- Identifies areas of business improvement and the steps needed to enhance the overall productivity in Service Parts.
- Integrates new systems/processes and tools into the existing systems/processes and tools.
- Ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within management’s expectations.
- Effectively communicates relevant project information/status to management and other project members.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Associate degree (Related field) – Required
- Bachelor’s degree – Preferred
- Certification (Order Picker/Forklift) – Required
- 3-5 Years of Experience (Warehouse/Service Parts experience) – Required
- SAP, MS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, basic mathematics
- Some travel may be required.
- Ability to train others.

- Extreme attention to detail and ability to analyze complex issues.
