DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinates, designs, and tracks all wellness campaigns
- Implements and facilitates health and wellness activities for BSI employees
- Issues participation reports to groups/team members
- Creates the BSI Wellness Newsletter
- Travels to events (Wellness Fairs, Committee Meetings, etc.)
- Updates team on latest health and wellness trends
- Supports and delivers wellness presentations to new and existing clients
- Keeps team updated on wellness compliance
- Conducts research and summarizes findings on research studies or governmental health websites
- Conducts needs assessments or surveys of BSI employees to determine interest in, or satisfaction with, wellness and fitness programs, events, or services.
- Heightens the awareness of the factors that can affect health and longevity, encouraging employees to take increased responsibility for their health behaviors.
- Conducts regularly scheduled meetings with account teams to update on each group's wellness programs
- Prepares communication materials such as email blasts, promotional materials and participant follow ups
- Tracks and orders prizes for wellness campaigns including crafting winner letters
- Compiles and organizes data related to wellness education and prevention for the BSI Wellness Resources portal
- Provides open enrollment support as it relates to wellness
- All other duties as assigned

- Displays professional conduct that acts as a positive example for the team
- Protects confidential material, procedure manuals, and methods of doing business
- Keeps Outlook calendar up to date and accessible
- Keeps hours as necessary to complete all position requirements
- Creates paper and electronic files according to corporate standards
- Maintains organized work area that allows co-workers to access information when required during the absence of the employee
- Uses appropriate conflict resolution, provide constructive feedback to management, and suggests possible resolutions
- Supports other departments and/or additional projects when needed
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
- Ability to sit at a desk in office of location each normal workday
- Ability to use personal computer
- Ability to speak and hear in person and by telephone
- Ability to travel commercially to and from client and vendor sites 10%** of the time (Day Travel)
- Ability to work in climate-controlled office environment
- Ability to work outside of the typical 9-5 office hours
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Public Health, General Studies, or a related field, OR at least two years of relevant experience in developing and implementing wellness programs
- Understanding of insurance rating processes for fully-insured, experience rated and self-funded plans
- Experience reading and interpreting reports from insurance carriers
- Basic knowledge of HSAs, HRAs, and FSAs
- A high energy level and the ability to work under significant pressure with frequent interruptions
- Solid critical thinking skills and the ability to concurrently manage issues
- Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to become proficient in Agency Management Software - Salesforce
- Proficiency with software programs, such as, Adobe, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, Google Drive
- Ability to establish rapport and relationships with clients and carrier representatives
- Insurance licenses (Life, Accidental & Health) required within six months of employment
