What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safety Consultant position at BSI?
Become a part of our dynamic team as a Safety Consultant and contribute to ensuring a safe workplace for our clients.
You will assist with laboratory inspections, observe, document, and investigate unsafe work conditions. You will work with laboratory personnel to develop JHAs and determine project-specific hazards and risks.
- Manage occupational hazards and environmental risks, lead incident investigations, conduct risk assessments, and create/document corrective and preventative actions to ensure a safe workplace.
- Oversee chemical management, review new chemical approvals, develop chemical storage and segregation schemes, flammability limits, etc.
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in scientific or EHS related field, prior consulting or EHS experience, and familiarity with risk assessment and accident investigations.
