The pay range for this position is $36.72-$48.76 paid hourly, offers will be based on the successful candidate's experience.
Roles & Responsibilities
for more independent work and participation in more complex project work than Staff Engineer II. In addition to those
tasks accomplished by the Staff II position, Staff II tasks may include:
- Coordinate and execute field data collection and/or site observations using standardized procedures
- Perform a supporting technical role in more complex projects that include data management and evaluation with
- Perform or supervise field assignments that require judgment and experience. Receive guidance from
- Client Interaction developing effective communication skills while scheduling and performing field activities
- Prepare detailed work plans for various projects.
- Interpret data and test results to support project objectives.
- Technical Reports: Write comprehensive technical reports documenting findings and recommendations, with
- Manage and be responsible for specific components of projects as assigned. Assist more senior geologists and
- May coordinate the work of Aides or Technicians
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Entry level professional with a Master’s degree, or a Bachelor’s degree from accredited university in civil
- EIT or GIT required
- 4 years plus
- Willing to travel to project locations throughout California
Preferred Skills
- Capable of taking direction and completing work with basic supervision
- Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
- Proficiency in standard engineering or geological techniques and procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications and tools
