BSM Facility Services Group is an established 46 year old company that offers professional maintenance services to commercial properties throughout the Bay Area.
We are seeking an accounting person that is advanced in their proficiency of Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks. We seek someone that excels in mathematical calculations, is well organized and has excellent organizational skills.
Skills and abilities:
- Proficiency with Excel including knowledge of formulas, macros, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, and data validation.
Job duties include:
Accounts Payable
- Verify/obtain approval for bills (operations, resale supplies, subcontractors, etc.)
- Enter cost on work orders and bill on Software
- Prepare check run list.
- Pay bills via credit card
- Add new vendors/suppliers.
- Resolve A/P discrepancies and issues.
- File (electronically) invoices.
Accounts Receivable
- Bill work orders and purchase orders (resale supplies) and ensure profitability.
- Collections (prepare report and contact customers).
- Send statements to customers.
- Add new accounts on Software
- Resolve A/R discrepancies and issues.
General Accounting
- Job cost sheets and increase letters.
- Commissions for accounts.
- Job profitability report.
- Prepare reports for Sales Reps
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $69,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
