Project Manager Job Description
BSM Wall Systems, a leading Masonry & Exteriors Contractor in the St George area, is hiring a Project Manager. BSM Wall Systems has served clients for 15 years as one of the most respected, experienced, and dependable specialty contractors in the Midwest & Mountain states with offices in Kansas City, Omaha, Denver, Salt Lake City and St George UT. We take pride in providing the highest levels of quality, craftsmanship and integrity in the industry and we are looking for a Project Manager to join our team.
Role Responsibilities & Details:
- Assist Management, General Superintendents and field personnel to plan and coordinate Exterior projects from inception to completion, including staffing, management, supervision and execution of all commercial contracts secured
- Ensure project and material compliance per plans and specs and review/prep drawings and project folders for transfer to field team upon project launch
- Verify material, scaffolding and equipment procurement
- Assists with submittals, scheduling, resource allocation, change orders, reverse take-offs and quantity tracking
- Assists with preparing monthly billings
- Manages risk and identifies areas of improvement pursuant to BSM’s safety program and protocols as a key member of safety team
- Reviews jobs for manpower loading, adequate supervision, QA/QC requirements
- Verifies appropriate BSM representative is present and/or attends jobsite meetings
- Ensures completion of contractual requirements for reporting (e.g. daily logs, manpower reports, meeting minutes, safety meetings, etc.)
Requirements:
- 5 years experience in commercial construction (Exterior experience in siding, stone, stucco, etc preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related field is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
- Knowledge in Bluebeam, Excel, Planswift and/or Tradesmen’s is a plus
