LOCATION DETAILS : 14460 Varsity Brands Way; Farmers Branch, TX
WORK HOURS : Monday – Friday; 8am-5pm CST
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Process credit card requests received via fax, email, and phone, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
- Reconcile payments and refunds, updating order details accordingly.
- Issue credit memos based on authorized approvals and in compliance with company policy.
- Initiate refunds for existing credits, ensuring adherence to policy and procedure.
- Validate balances reviewing cash application postings ensuring proper reconciliation and issuance of credit memos.
- Process write-off requests for open invoices identified as unrecoverable or uncollectable, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Field inbound queue calls related to credit card payment requests.
- Accurately process lockbox payment files as part of the cash application process.
- Monitor and address incoming requests in the BSN Billing general mailbox.
- Meet all departmental Service Level Agreements (SLA) to ensure timely processing of tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES
Ability to work independently, self-starter and a team player.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and respond to changing demands. Must be committed and responsive to firm deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook). Strong knowledge of Excel required) v-look ups, filters and pivot tables.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate must have 3-5 years of work experience in cash application / accounts receivable.
High volume cash application and credit card processing experience.
Account reconciliation experience.
ERP experience required, SAP experience is highly preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This job operates in a professional office environment. Largely a sedentary role with some filing requiring the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary. The ability to sit or stand for long periods through meetings and while operating office equipment, PC’s, laptop, telephone will be required.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; drive, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
During events, the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time (5 hours plus) is required. The ability to communicate with customers and colleagues using the following but not limited to radio, walkie talkie, text message and email is required. The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and manipulate equipment that is a minimum of 30 lbs. is required.
