Job Overview
Our client is a leading expert in the Residential Building Services market providing a full complement of services for residential properties throughout New Jersey, New York, and Florida. They are currently seeking a dynamic Recruiter to join their team! This position will require working in their Rutherford, NJ office with occasional travel to local client sites.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Day-to-day recruiting functions for all levels of candidates (exempt and non-exempt) to include developing job descriptions & job postings, sourcing, resume review/screening, interviewing, candidate selection, background checks, presenting offers, and onboarding activities.
- Sourcing internal and external candidates using internal job posting process, direct sourcing, internet, social media, employee referrals, job fairs, and networking.
- Utilizing recruitment sourcing techniques to locate passive and non-passive candidates.
- Handling and following-up on all new hire onboarding paperwork in a timely manner
- Working closely with Human Resources and Operations team to provide timely updates.
- Meeting with Operations Managers and HR Manager to determine needs, selection criteria, timing, and set expectations
- Timely scheduling and coordination of candidate pre-screening and management interviews.
- Collaborating with Operations Managers to identify and recommend compensation and start dates
- Maintaining regular recruiting and progress reports.
- Providing excellent customer service to candidates, hiring managers, and the executive team.
- Assist in other special projects and other duties as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Human Resources or relevant field preferred.
- At least 2 years managing all phases of the full-cycle recruitment process with extensive experience recruiting hourly employees
- Solid interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate with all levels of management and candidates
- Proficient in the use of all recruitment tools including social media, software, etc.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and HRIS.
- Ability to analyze and define problems, prioritize workflow, multitask, meet deadlines and remain flexible.
- Stay fluent with employment laws as they relate to recruitment and onboarding
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to details.
- Fluent in Spanish preferred
- Experience with Paylocity a plus
