The Role
We are seeking an Event Programming Coordinator to join our Programming team. You will be working on the back end of our events databases and communications to support the design and execution of compelling event programs that feature top-tier speakers, panel discussions, workshops, and keynotes at the world's largest Bitcoin Conferences. You will learn to manage the back end of these processes at first but ultimately grow into a position that allows you to curate and execute public-facing content, on stream and onstage, from end to end.
This role offers the opportunity to work on the largest and most impactful Bitcoin events around the world, attended by leaders of nation-states, celebrities, industry executives, developers, investors, and Bitcoin enthusiasts. The programming team, in particular, is extremely lean and fast-paced, and our ideal candidate is a fantastic communicator and self-starter who can learn quickly and possesses excellent organizational skills across processes and systems. They'll be ambitious and bring their creativity and interests to the table to help accelerate hyperbitcoinization.

You’ll Be Doing
- Producing high-quality event programming for Bitcoin conferences around the world
- Tracking popular developments in the Bitcoin industry to research and reach out to potential speakers
- Communicating with current and potential speakers about event logistics and programming details and answering their questions
- Working across databases to facilitate smooth communication between conference teams
- Working with the marketing team to plan and deliver assets prior to events
- Tracking speaker payments and reimbursements across events
- Working in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment to coordinate major events with high-level speakers
- Meeting with the programming team daily online
- Supporting inbound comms to the programming team.
- Working with our affiliate program coordinator to help speakers market our events
- Traveling to Bitcoin Conferences to manage stages, speakers, and programming with the conference team.
- Show-running during onsite events
- 6 months of proven experience in event planning, programming, or a similar role, ideally within the tech or financial industry.
- Passion for Bitcoin and a deep understanding of the Bitcoin ecosystem, including key industry players, trends, and innovations
- Organization and attention to detail
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where flexibility and adaptability are key.
- Creative thinker who can develop engaging content and unique event experiences.
- Some familiarity with conference production, including AV requirements, stage management, and live streaming, is a plus.
- Ability to learn & use new software quickly
- Extremely high-level online communication skills
- A passion for Bitcoin and our mission towards Hyperbitcoinization
- Experience in Bitcoin, event planning, and viral content creation is a plus
