BTIG seeks a Vice President to join Prime Brokerage Sales team in the New York office. The primary responsibility of the role is to market the BTIG Prime Brokerage platform to new and existing hedge funds and family offices. The salesperson will also cross-sell all other areas of BTIG’s offering. This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful, dynamic and fast-paced team on a growth platform.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Pitch Prime Brokerage service to qualified leads
- Collect appropriate due diligence and “Know Your Customer” information for each new lead to ensure suitability
- Cross-sell all divisions within BTIG
- Establish and maintain relationships with Hedge Fund service provider community (i.e. attorneys, administrators, auditors, technology firms, compliance firms, outsource COO firms, etc.)
- 4-8 years of direct Prime Brokerage sales experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Global Markets and Financial Instruments
- Self-starter with proven ability to multitask and prioritize workload
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Personable and professional demeanor
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (i.e. Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, etc.)
- Series 7 and 63 licenses required
- Must be authorized to work full time in the U.S., BTIG does not offer sponsorship for work visas of any type

Compensation
- BTIG offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. Salary range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, years of applicable experience, skills, qualifications, licensure and certifications, and other business and organization needs.
- The current estimated base salary range for this role is $150,000 - $300,000 per year. Please note that certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as discretionary bonus or overtime.
