BTI Security is accepting applications for Full-time and Part-time Armed Protective Service Officers (PSO) in South Florida. This is designated as an Essential position. BTI Security seeks to hire a high caliber of security officers who demonstrate professionalism and a solid commitment to protecting and securing our sites, staff, and clients.
Job Skills / Requirements
- Protect the principal against possible threats
- Federal building access control, employee and visitor identification checks, security equipment monitoring, roving patrols of the interior and exterior of federal property
- Monitoring surveillance cameras for any disruptions or unlawful activities
- Providing detailed reports on daily activities and / or incidents that may have occurred
- Knowledgeable and able to effectively use magnetometer and X-ray machines
- Using provided communication devices, such as two-way radios, in a clear and concise manner
- Leverages excellent listening and service skills in emergency response and evaluation procedures
- Performing CPR or first aid when needed
- Ensure credentials are maintained per contract requirements
- Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor and / or Project Manager.
